Hurles E. Scales

Chief Executive Officer


Hurles E. Scales is a native of Amarillo, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and his Masters of Education from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Mr. Scales is a resident of Dallas, Texas. Since the late eighties, Mr. Scales has been consulting in the import/export industry throughout the international market place. His business travels have taken him to South Asia, the Eastern Coast of Central American, Europe and to Central, South and West Africa countries. His experiences range in the areas of commercial farming, seafood, mining, oil & gas and manufacturing. As a former Professional Football Player; Mr. Scales was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 1973 and played with the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and the Green Bay Packers. He served four years as the Vice President of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), Dallas chapter.

Mr. Scales is the CEO of ICIBG who recently attended Babson College, an Executive Education Program in Massachusetts. He is presently an adjunct faculty member at Richland College and has mentored male students in high school and college for over 15 years.

Michael Henderson

Chief Financial Officer


Michael is a native of Oklahoma and has been located in the Dallas metroplex since 1994. He attended Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana and finished his bachelor's with an accounting degree from the University of Oklahoma’s School of Business. He began his career in the corporate industry at CMI Corporation, a domestic and international development equipment company, as a cost accountant. He continued his corporate accounting career after moving to Dallas at Alumet Corporation in the cost accounting department. He also worked as a consultant in the accounting services industry and gained experience in financial analysis, consulting and audit. After years in the corporate arena, he moved into public accounting by joining a public accounting firm as the key managerial associate. Within a few years, Mr. Henderson established his own firm in 2002 and currently has, a full service accounting firm in Frisco, Texas. His professional public accounting experience spans several industries and a multitude of professional accounting and tax services. He has assisted companies with large capital fundraises and has performed financial analysis for various large domestic and international projects in the energy, agricultural, and real estate sectors. Mr. Henderson is a fully licensed and practicing certified public accountant specializing in business consulting, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning, and other specialized services.

Jean S. Fugett Jr.

Jean S. Fugett Jr. Esq. A graduate of Amherst College with honors and George Washington University Law School. Fugett helped his brother Reginald F. Lewis found TLC Group in 1983. From there Fugett served as Director and Vice-Chair of the McCall Pattern Company Management Committee, as founding partner of a Baltimore law firm, and as a partner with Fanfone in Europe. After the death of his brother in 1993, Fugett took over TLC Beatrice International Foods, the largest black-owned and black managed business in the US at the time. At its peak, TLC Beatrice had $2.2 billion in sales and was number 512 on Fortune magazine's list of 1,000 largest.

Fugett was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys and started in Super Bowl X before joining the Washington Redskins. In addition to his law practice, Fugett served as President of the Retired Players Steering Committee of the NFL Players Association, as legal counsel and on the Leadership Council for the American Diabetes Association Maryland Chapter. Fugett is currently working on his memoirs.

Alton. Scales

Alton D. Scales is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he earned a Master's of Science in Manufacturing Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology. He has three decades of Higher Education experience twelve of which as an executive. His titles have included, President, Campus CEO, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Assistant Vice President of Student Services. He has served at the University of North Texas, University of Kansas, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Colorado Mountain College. Currently, he is an Associate Partner and consultant for Capitol Peaks Advisors LLC a consulting firm. As an AQUIP, quality management team facilitator he has had a positive impact on the process and systems of numerous organizations. He has consulted for numerous organizations i.e. Crayola Crayon factory, City of Denton, Texas, City of Allentown, PA, and the Congressional Black Caucus. Some of his board memberships have included; The NW Council of Governments, three Workforce Development Councils, two Economic Development Centers and several community service boards.

Alton's motto is "Dreams Precede Reality". That belief coupled with his experience and training from the National Coalition Building Institute provided him with the tools to present at The National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, The American Association of Community Colleges and various churches, colleges and community-based organizations from San Francisco to Washington DC. Alton is an avid percussionist enjoys playing African and Afro-Cuban rhythms on the Djembe and is developing his skills as a jazz drummer.
